If you want to excel in your future business career and work with people from all over the globe, the International Business Program is the best choice for you! Today’s business environment is increasingly competitive, influenced by worldwide trade, investment, and global decision making. Almost all companies require a combination of general business abilities and specialized international skills to rise above the competition. Companies must understand how the global market affects every aspect of business, including marketing and sales, human resources, and general management. Governments are also in need of international specialists to help support the growth of national and regional economies.
The International Business Program will help you develop a wide range of essential skills pertinent to any business. You will develop an international perspective while learning about marketing, importing and exporting, inter-cultural communications, product transportation, operations management, and international development. You will also study a foreign language and participate in a field trip (mandatory).

A diploma in International Business will prepare you for employment locally, nationally and throughout the world. Typical opportunities include global market research, export marketing, negotiation and sales, international purchasing, business operations, transportation of goods, customs clearance, government development projects, and research and policy development.

| Program Length: |
Business - 2 semesters (1 year) 32 Weeks |

Accounting, 1-year program, offers students a more intensive background in financial accounting, corporate finance, cost accounting and taxation.
Some of our most successful graduates are those who, after graduating, enroll in the Certified General Accountants program to obtain their professional designation (C.G.A.).
This professional accounting organization gives exemptions for many courses taken during the diploma program, which results in a significant reduction in time required to receive the professional accounting designation.
The first two semesters of the Business programs are common. It also helps those who want to transfer to Public College’s program at CIABT location. At the end of each Semester, students will indicate their program of choice whether they want to continue their studies with Public College with their business program or not. Acceptance into the program will be based on the College’s assessment of each candidate’s relative probability of success. A minimum of a B grade in Introductory Accounting and Mathematics is recommended.
